CIS self-employed contractor claiming expenses via self-assessment return
At PSG we have completed thousands of self-assessment returns for freelancers and contractors but we have also prepared them for Construction Industry Scheme (‘CIS’) contractors and in many of these cases it has been possible to gain a refund of tax deducted at source under the CIS scheme.
